Theme: Portrait

"Bleu", by Butterfly

I took a picture of Bleu in his room because he was funny. And he was bossy. And he plays a lot. And he is a school clown. Posted by Hello

"Mia", by Jonathan

It is so so scary. I didn't want her to look like that. Turn it off. Posted by Hello

Theme: Portrait

"Mom", by Mia I picked to do this because I like the hp commercial. And the picture is already framed! haha Posted by Hello

Theme: Portrait

"Mikal", by Bleu

I told Mikal to hold my trophy because I wanted everyone to know me. I made it green because it looks awesome! Posted by Hello

Theme: Portrait

"Mica", by Mikal Posted by Hello

I wanted to take a picture of her in the window because it looks cool. I made it crooked instead of straight so you would be more interested.

"Butterfly", by Mica Posted by Hello

We were trying to make her look like a butterfly, but it ended up looking like this!

Echo's submission is a group picture of all the kids after Mica's game. Posted by Hello

Our first theme: portrait

We are going to draw names and take pictures of each other. Because Echo isn't old enough to participate, I am going to include a group picture to represent him. If you decide to play along, please post a link to your entry in the comments of this post!

About The Project

  • Each Sunday, our family will choose a theme to photograph. Each of the nine family members will choose their best photo to include on the site. This is an ongoing art project that we hope will teach our kids how to express their own vision of the world they live in.

  • You can participate by submitting your photo to the Nine Sides of Sunday flickr group.
